Work closely with estimating, detailing, project management, production and accounts payable departments. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure company is working at cost effective levels as well as receiving the best quality with prompt service and delivery. Prepare cut lists and tracking documents from blue prints. Both by manual data entry and .kss downloads into Fabtrol Systems steel fabricator MRP program. Issue purchase orders and contracts to sub-contractors for each project. Current employer is AISC certified, and have taken AISC auditor training.
